HOT TAKE: Let your consumers see behind the curtain

I follow this girl on TikTok and she’s literally made an ad for dirt. Dirt. But you know what? It made me want to go garden. Use to be that people saw an ad and just moved on with their day, but lately, a surge of appreciation for creators and the creative process is happening all over social media and it makes me feel like people are wanting to see more about how the "bacon" is made. Think about it, people will scroll for hours through “satisfying content“ or ASMR. Watching somebody creative do something that interests them falls right in line with that category of content. Look at videos like five-minute crafts or literally anything on Pinterest. People have an admiration for those who can create things and showing what it takes to make something happen makes the art more achievable. I think that with the rise of this kind of content we’re going to be seeing more people joining the creative fields and introducing new ideas that will help usher in a new era not only of creative, but of advertising altogether.
