CrossPoint Church
The Approach
CrossPoint Church came to me in need of creative leadership, not just design. As a small-to-midsize ministry with no internal creative team, they were juggling contributions from various volunteers and staff β which left their visual identity feeling fragmented. They wanted a cohesive foundation and guidance on how to communicate clearly and consistently. I stepped in to help them define a new path forward, starting with collaborative planning meetings to understand their vision, challenges, and needs. From there, we built a system that empowered their team to move forward with confidence β one rooted in thoughtful design, smart structure, and a strategy that matched their mission.

The Strategy
Our first step was to develop brand guidelines that brought clarity to their visual identity without limiting the individuality of their ministries. I created a flexible color system β assigning thoughtfully selected hues across the spectrum β and offered guidance for how and when to use them. That framework became the launchpad for a full starter kit of templates: posters, social graphics, email designs, brochures, bulletins, and more. I also executed several high-stakes materials for them directly to ease the learning curve, including intricate brochures and ministry collateral. Beyond design, I coached their team through best practices and offered hands-on support in the early months of adoption. Over the course of our partnership, I also helped them build three distinct yearly themes, each with its own sub-brand for sermons, banners, and events β all tied back to the core system. It was the kind of project where I got to think big, build smart, and help a mission-minded team do more with what they had.
